Iron Sharpeneth Iron (ISI) was formed from a vision shared by a small group of men who agree with the notion that “as goes the men so goes society”. We believe that men were created to be the heads of family while also being the foundation that stabilizes community and society. We believe the decay of community and society we are experiencing today can be traced directly back to the “misalignment” of men and its recurring negative impact with each generation.

To address this problem, we formed Iron Sharpeneth Iron; a skills training organization that cultivates a fraternal environment that promotes the establishment of relationships that foster support and accountability amongst its members. ISI provides guidance for growth and fulfillment in every area of their being. It is our goal to train members of the community to become stronger, more productive, more positive forces in society.

We challenge our members to live on purpose, with purpose, for a purpose. We offer a variety of services geared towards workforce development, entrepreneurship, apprenticeship and employment related services. Our member transportation service allows us to meet our patrons where they are; onsite or offsite.

ISI believes that life goals are best  reached with the student in driver’s seat on the road to personal development.  It is our pleasure to take the journey with you and to illuminate your path towards your purpose.  

Our center offers several skills training programs that are paired with motivational life coaching and various peer support group sessions. We provide an optimal  level of support that enables members to reach a better and more fulfilled level of life.

• To establish a partnership which challenges each member to recognize and build on their strengths, explore their current reality and find positive ways to make changes and move forwards
• To be an instrument in helping every member to develop a fresh perspective on each situation they are facing supporting them to explore a range of options
• To maintain the highest level of integrity and unbiased opinion on every member, regardless of their gender, ethnic, social or religious background.
